The anchor drill is an essential tool for anchor support in coal mines, and the development of anchor support requires a large number of anchor hole drilling equipment as a guarantee.
The anchor drill, also known as the anchor support drill in some places, is a drilling tool used in the anchoring and supporting work of coal mine tunnels. It has outstanding advantages in improving support effect, reducing support costs, speeding up tunnel construction, reducing auxiliary transportation volume, reducing labor intensity, and improving tunnel section utilization.
The anchor drilling rig is a key equipment for anchor support, which affects the quality of anchor support - the accuracy of the orientation, depth, and diameter of the anchor hole, as well as the installation quality of the anchor. It also involves the personal safety, labor intensity, and operating conditions of the operator.
Working principle of rotary jet anchor drill
In the layered rock formation, the anchor rod suspends the unstable lower rock formation on the stable upper rock formation. The tension force on the anchor rod comes from the suspended rock formation.
In thin rock layers without stable rock formations, after installing anchor rods with confidence, the clamping force of the anchor rods will increase the friction between the layers, which can prevent the rock from continuing to slide along the layers, thus locking several thin rock layers into a thicker rock layer through the anchor rods. The maximum bending stress and strain in this thick rock beam are inversely proportional to the square of the beam thickness, and the thicker the integrated rock beam, the smaller the maximum bending stress and strain. At the same time, the strength of the anchor rod itself also increases the overall shear resistance of the beam.
The principle of the combined arch of anchor rods is that when installing prestressed anchor rods in the fracture zone of the surrounding rock of the roadway, compressive stresses in the form of conical bodies will be formed at both ends of the rod body. If anchor rods are arranged along the roof, the compressive stress cones formed by each anchor rod will overlap and crisscross, forming a pressure-bearing arch that prevents the spread of the fracture zone, which can withstand the radial load imposed by the crushed rock above it. The pre-tightening force along the axis of the anchor rod produces hoop stresses in the combined arch, which significantly improves the stress state of the pressure-bearing arch, changing the state of the surrounding rock from uniaxial, biaxial to triaxial compression. This forms a uniformly compressed continuous bearing zone in the surrounding rock, greatly improving the load-bearing capacity of the combined arch.
